I am such a paralegal. I saw that picture and my first thought was whether they had to have extra insurance. :-)
totally ~ considering that this type of dessert originates from a wild and less litigious era, i hope it doesn't go the way of smoking in public places or three-martini lunches...
want mo flamin' naners!!!!
Man... you are stirring up memories of a restaurant we used to go to when I was a kid. It has since closed, but talk about awesome... JD, I know you would have LOVED it. Go here (http://www.kahiki.com/about-us/supper-club.aspx#) to read about it and watch the video. Sniff....
NO WAI charissa, sounds like you were tiki when tiki was still cool :D i regrettably never got around to visiting the kahiki, for which i kick myself to this day. however, i do know a strong cadre of folks in columbus who keep the memory strong; one guy i know even has a whole table, chairs, setting, mugs and decor from the kahiki set up in his house! i envy your memories of that place... it was one of the top handful of great polynesian restaurants in the world...
trying to view your webpage and am having no luck just hearing a lot of clickingon this end. I'll just have to use my imagination on the Flambe Bannan Bombe
Johnny D... Have you seen this bit from the NY Times? I thought of you immediately.
